1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our website, uploading photos to our estimator, or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Service Description
Rubbish Doctor provides junk removal and demolition services in Greater Portland, Maine. Our services include:
- •AI-Powered Estimator – Upload photos to receive instant price estimates
- •Junk Removal – Furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, yard waste, and general debris
- •Demolition Services – Sheds, decks, fences, hot tubs, and interior demolition
3. Estimates and Pricing
AI estimates are not final quotes. Please understand:
- •Estimates are based on AI analysis of uploaded photos and may vary from final pricing
- •Final pricing is determined on-site after our team verifies actual volume and materials
- •Additional items, access issues, or restricted materials may affect final price
- •All estimates are reviewed by a Rubbish Doctor professional for accuracy
- •You will approve the final price before work begins
4. User Responsibilities
When using our services, you agree to:
- •Provide accurate photos that represent the items to be removed
- •Disclose any hazardous materials, access restrictions, or special conditions
- •Ensure you have the right to dispose of all items
- •Provide accurate contact and service location information
- •Be available (in person or by phone) during scheduled service
5. Prohibited Items
We cannot accept the following hazardous materials:
- ✗Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials
- ✗Lead paint or lead-contaminated materials
- ✗Chemicals, pesticides, or toxic substances
- ✗Medical waste or biohazardous materials
- ✗Radioactive materials
- ✗Ammunition or explosives
6. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service:
- •We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and digital payments
- •Final price must be approved before work begins
- •Payment is collected after job completion and customer approval
7. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows may be charged a trip fee.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- •AI estimates are provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy
- •We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- •Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for services
